This is my latest work, a hunt-themed still life. It was a commission from friends, so it does not reflect my favorite choice of subject, but it was a nice exercise and I always enjoy to paint pieces with warmly and softly lighted elements on very dark brown background.
I was also given other paintings as references, so that makes it even more an exercise (I hope the authors I took inspiration from, “L’Ultimo Caravaggio”,  Giuseppe Recco,  & others, would be flattered and not offended ^_^).

I haven’t figured out yet how to improve the galleries (working on that!) but anyways I have added a new gallery for the Tuscan Dream collection !!!

A new “fantasy” portrait is now in the Portraiture Gallery !

I just finished today a new painting, of which I couldn’t say anything before because it was a surprise birthday gift for a friend, commissionned by his wife !

So I just put on pause for a few days the project I am working on (Matilde’s “fantasy” portrait).

I still don’t know which gallery to put it in !!! so for the moment please just view it here by clicking on the image to enlarge it !

I just updated the Portraiture Gallery with 2 new images, Janelle’s rabbit Sixty and the little Lavinia (sister of the previously portrayed Greta and Lucia).

Another show at EBSQ, this time it’s a swap between partners who portray each other’s pet(s) !

You can see my entry  where I portrayed Sixty, Janelle Dixon’s cute grey rabbit.

She’s going to portray my cat Cleofe, but I saw that her entry is not ready yet !

Finally, to celebrate the accomplishment of the new website, I have published my freshest painting, titled “The Key of Many Secrets”and added a new gallery for it, called simply “nudes”.

…although I could have called the gallery “nude faeries” perhaps.

The sidebar is now back!
At this point the new website just needs a little adjusting, and when this will be done, the latest artwork, which is already completed, will be added too.
