Cacciagione style
This is my latest work, a hunt-themed still life. It was a commission from friends, so it does not reflect my favorite choice of subject, but it was a nice exercise and I always enjoy to paint pieces with warmly and softly lighted elements on very dark brown background.
I was also given other paintings as references, so that makes it even more an exercise (I hope the authors I took inspiration from, “L’Ultimo Caravaggio”, Giuseppe Recco, & others, would be flattered and not offended ^_^).
